How everything started...

After traveling the world I finally end up following my dream to provide other travelers a unique accommodation experience.

My adventure started in 2014 when I first visited Sri Lanka and I fell in love straight away with the island, especially with the southern part !

So I left my stressful life in Barcelona and I started building Kanferri Villa.

In the beginning it was hard but after one year of struggling I finally finished my life dream.

Now I am so proud to share with other travelers my dream, an intimate retreat in the jungle near the beach and Koggala Lake where plenty of activities can be done.

A place to relax, breathe and slow down...

Our Villa is located in the jungle side of Kathaluwa far away from the noisy main road; but just 5 min walk from the beach where you will find sun beds, coconuts and one of our favorite surf spot. You have plenty of eating options around of local and international cuisine.

Southern Province / Ahangama /

Ahangama is a cool beach zone in the southern province of Sri Lanka where our Villa is located , many surf spots around and nice places to eat where you can still feel the slow life style of the old days.

No better experience for a family vacation with 4 generations. When I first booked this place, I was in 2 minds trying to get a beach front Villa instead. But the owner's responsiveness made me comfortable with choice of Kanferri and I am so glad that we stayed here. The place is as amazing as it shows in the pictures and to top it all is the great hospitality of the owner. Since my family group had members from 86 year old to 1.5 year of infant, we were a bit demanding. I felt a little guilty because of it, but the owner worked all of them out immediately with a smile on his face. He hooked us up with big van for airport transportation, boat tour in the lake and even surf lessons with help of his friends in the neighborhood. All I can say is thanks for making our family vacation after 4 years such a memorable one.
